breakfast with ahma and jong yesterday (: it was nice to be able to see them again after such a long time - since the last breakfast we had? they started complaining about the huge amount of holiday homework, and i realised that we don't really have holiday homework. we just have, well, ee and tok. but that's enough anyway.
and to think i was so happy that school is starting on tuesday instead of monday.... ahma told me their school starts next monday. what the?! that totally deflated me. and ahma just had to bring up the 'wash feet soup'.
hahaha jong, champion. she was asking me what tok is like.
'is it like the kind of question: if 1/3 is 3.33333333.. , and 2/3 is 6.66666666....., then how come 3/3 is 9.999999999..... and not 1?... eh, i mean 10. no no no, 1.'
'uhm, jong, 1/3 isn't 3.333333333, it's 0.33333333333.'
anyway, breakfast was fun (:
this week (my precious last few days of holiday), made profiteroles (cream puffs filled with vanilla pastry cream, glazed with bittersweet ganache), mocha cinnamon chocolate chip cookies with coarsely-chopped dark chocolate chunks, and chocolate gelato (the recipe grace gave me a looong time ago). gave my grandparents half of the cream puffs because my grandfather likes this kind of thing.
wish we had that extra one week of holidays. it's going to be a tough year.

just found out who my new ogl partner is, since marcus pulled out.
