the most depressing theme your thoughts can take on is 'if only i had...'
there's such a thing as overthinking something. you need to make a decision, so you weigh out the pros and cons. i've made so many wrong decisions in 2009 (yes why don't i move on already) and it wasn't till the later part of the year that the consequences started to dawn on me.
i've realised that when you overthink things, that just backfires - really badly. instead of weighing out the pros and cons, i think i just couldnt make up my mind whether or not to. and it seems one side seemed more appealing to me, and i spent the rest of my time trying to convince the other side of why i should take that side. you probably think i'm insane.
ah well, 2009's over. but the consequences of wrong decisions still linger. that's the problem with life - we just don't have a time turner. ('forward to time past' by john williams. haha.)
ANYWAY. first day of school: how did it go?
met our new class teachers, new subject teachers - all seem really nice and funny. 2010 brings along with it new responsibilities. julia, jia ren and me.
oh yes i almost forgot. CONGRATULATIONS, DANIEL!!!!! (: ohmygosh you're such a genius.
and sorry, nat wong, for the four missed calls. hahaha. i knew you'd rejoin - that secret passion! HAHAHA. no matter how much you may deny it. lol. (i can just imagine ahma being excited at your change of heart.) it's been really entertaining smsing you (: if you recall, before one of the o level papers: 'you have a brother??? but she has a sister!!' no logic at all, you brilliant person.
miss those times in mg where you'd just say the most ridiculous things (: even though you were the source of all the talking during class last time, which slightly annoyed ahma, sarah and me. haha.
oh look, i changed ogl partner again.
