cny family gathering yesterday! (: with all the relatives and extended relatives.
after lunch, we (the younger generation) went upstairs to play board games. game of life, scrabble, connect four, pictionary, taitee, poker - while eating pineapple tarts and chips, and drinking fruit punch. unhealthy to the max. haha. game of life was pretty fun.
stewart and ben were a 'couple' - hence the two guys sitting in their blue car. and wow, they had four kids altogether, and retired before everyone else. and they were a good couple, discussing with each other which house to buy, haha.
i owned chris at connect four! :P hahaha. we played the superduper fast version, drop your coin immediately after the other person has done so.
pictionary was hilarious. stewart and chris were on my team. you should have seen chris' taj mahal (stewart thought it was a candle), and his bacon and eggs. all the drawings were really funny, hahaha. stewart apparently tried to draw some famous statue, and i thought it was a 'dead squirrel'. 'dead squirrel?!! it's a masterpiece!'
yes, and stewart got to bring home his pictionary set which he left here last year. finally, haha.
scrabble - ultimate la. there was this loooong silence when it was chris' turn and no one said anything. waited for really long, then chris asked 'whose turn is it?' hahaha. like if he hadnt asked we'd be waiting there forever. we thought he was concentrating really hard and didnt want to disturb him.
then chris put 'history' downwards. and we went a few more rounds. came to stewart's turn, and he decided to straighten the words because they were slightly crooked. then he pushed every tile on its correct box and lo and behold, the letter y of history was off the board... and 'curtain' became 'cuotain'. so all those other words were not valid... hahaha. 'what is this?!!'

had a very yummy dinner at my grandparent's house.
it's time i start doing REAL work, not fake work. yes, self-deception. it always comes back to that.
