pineapple tarts are the loveeee (: especially homemade ones - homemade tarts that have just come out of the oven, when the pastry is still warm.
pineapple tarts are one of the best things about chinese new year. i don't mind if you don't give me angbaos, i just need my pineapple tarts! chinese new year wouldn't be the same without them. to think you have to wait one whole year just to eat them again.
i like open pineapple tarts better than close ones. they look better and taste even more fabulous (:
anyway. i never really understood the rationale behind learning history - except that you learn about your country's past and how it came to be what it is today. even though in the first few history lessons in sec one, we did this worksheet on 'why learn history?' and i remember there were like 5 or 6 different speech bubbles for us to fill in on why learning history was/is important.
one thing that i learnt from history that sticks with me is the 'golden age'. for some reason. hmm this is so random.
