ssef judging day. people had 4 to 6 judges. i had 6 judges - one was a last minute add on. the first few were not bad, though the judging style by the second last judge was totally unexpected. some judges were pretty nice.
but the entire day was rather tiring. in the morning, everyone was nervous and excited, waiting for the first judge to come. for me, after the first two judges came, the anxiety kind of wore off and presenting to the next few judges became quite a routine thing.
had four judges come before lunch and the two judges came a lot later. so in between, i managed to finish chem assignment 1 (: started on chem assignment 2 - and omg had a terrible neckache when doing the many parts of q1 structured because the booth is not exactly the most perfect place to do work.
germaine was doing chem hw too, haha. i think she's going to get a gold medal again! (: made friends with one of her rg juniors whose booth was back to back with mine.
oh yeah, celebrated guo yang's birthday! thaddeus bought him a cake and all the 8 of us went to his booth to sing 'happy birthday'. hahahe thaddeus said we're the only ones who would do something like this on ssef day when everyone else is busy preparing for the judging process. but by then the anxiety had already worn off so it wasnt that bad.

not expecting to win anything, probably won't. omg this reminds me of E(X) expected value.
after all our judges had come to judge our projects around 4 plus, min kai, nick ngiam, guo yang, sam and i went off to macs to eat something (because lunch wasnt exactly appetising). so sad, boon hwee, weixiang, gwen and the rest had already gone off after the judging so we didnt get to take a group picture with all of us in blazers.
so the 5 of us went to the pond area behind macs to take photo, since we won't be in blazer attire tomorrow. haha. tomorrow's fair is open to the public so it'll be so chaotic, probably won't be able to do any work. though all the work i have is all on the comp, since i just finished chem assignment 2 (finally).
macs had better get their soft serve ice cream machine functioning properly again, so i can have my oreo mcflurry tomorrow. highly unlikely though. low probability. darn, stats is getting to me.
today was quite fun - talking to germaine, visiting each other's booths and discussing judges, chatting at macs. but tiring. very tiring.
we only get to leave school at 9.30 a.m. tomorrow. but it's quite silly because we're not having many lessons since pc takes up the first hour.
ahh no more easily completable homework to do. it's all the BIG stuff. pfft.
