orch rehearsal today was pretty amusing.
there was no viola section today! yeah, zero violists. so it was just one big empty section. we could actually see the entire double bass for once.
dvorak first movement: the section after the triplets where everyone always ends at different times. lol.
second movement:
we played cde F. yang: 'hey it's 2 beats!' F------. hahaha.
daniel gordon ang played one bar twice as fast, and so loudly that the whole orch stopped.
haha and his face was classic during the cello solo in the first movement. he's actually quite comical to watch.
