common tests ended yesterday! finally. class outing for the whole day. actually, it was for the earlier part of the afternoon but then many people had their own stuff so it was only a few of us who ended up bowling at safra (thanks david (: haha) but quite a few went to james' house for his popiah (and porridge) party. played wii, cut cake, hung around talking, etc. reached home around 11 pm.
so. that was quite tiring, but fun (: nice change from going home to study (or not study :S). slept the earliest i have in days - 12.30 a.m. i actually couldnt wait to go home and sleep but then after bathing, i had to wait for my hair to dry so i ended up doing some filing and reorganising.
no i am not ocd, it's just that my table was far too messy. everything's so disorganised, that it's time i did something about it.
sad to say, i didnt get enough sleep last night!!! definitely not. i feel so sleep-deprived - quite a few other people were too, actually. didnt want to wake up for school today. except my phone kept vibrating, i couldnt continue sleeping undisturbed (alarm clock died on me.).
hardly did anything today. just a bunch of surveys, with a workshop on relationships. some parts were quite funny, plus cavan and david's random retarded comments. still, no idea how we spent almost 3.5 hours on that.
took bus back with julia - we were estimating our score for common tests. this was mine:
bio, chem, chinese: 7
eng, econs, math: 5
so that's (7x3) + (5x3) = 21 + 15 = 36
oh well. didnt really prepare for common tests - i promise to study for prelims.
econs and eng were disasters. considering i slept at 4am on the first day of exams (very screwed up, i know), by the time we were doing our econs paper after eng, i was rather tired. didnt help that i chose all the wrong questions for econs either. supposedly going through exam papers tomorrow - they probably won't return us our scripts. good thing too, i'm not looking forward to it. they can keep it in a box and burn it. except for my bio and chem papers. yep, they can destroy all other exam scripts. and my chem essay question on acids and bases.
hahaha yesterday at the recess table before bio options, i said i hoped they didnt test option E6 on animal behaviour (like altruism) because it was the only topic i didnt study. james said he hoped they would test it because that was one of the few things he actually read. haha so all of us asked him to tell us about animal behaviour. then on the way up to the audi, tried cramming some examples.
'your reading time starts now'. i start flipping the pages. and it's there. a 5 mark question on evolution of altruism in non-human species. wow brilliant. hahaha so i spammed what i had read 10 minutes ago - examples were the same as those james mentioned, except they were a bit more detailed. ah well. hope i smoked my way through that question. i'm so glad we ended with bio because math was a total disaster. wasnt thinking properly for some reason.
anyway, came back home, planned to bake. but then i ended up taking a looooong nap to compensate for my lack of sleep over the past week. so i slept the afternoon away and i've just finished baking.
needless to say time could have been more well-spent ): ioc. can't wait for it to be over. once it is, that's another huge monkey off our backs.
thursday:
meeting up with claire and some others for dinner
friday:
meeting up with firstrowers to celebrate jong's birthday
(:
oh yeah, went for the omm mahler 2 concert with ahma on sat. hahaha, i was quite !!! by cc. haha but that was funny. lots of people were there. saw gabriel, debb, jiaying, some other mgstrings people, yanhan, the hci people, claire and debbie, kee zhang and some other year 5s, the acphil members plus some ac music teachers.
oh darn, it's back to the real world - starting from now.
