i love how the batter looks at this point (: all the vanilla bean seeds ♥
raspberries. folded into the batter + pureed for the buttercream.
vanilla bean cupcakes. this batch came out better than all the previous batches i've made some other time. made using the extra batter, for the class. there were bigger ones but i didnt take photo of them.
meringue (:
swiss meringue raspberry buttercream. didnt add enough raspberry puree though, looks more like rose buttercream. love its silkiness though (:
i forgot to take photo of the final products, oh well. yep, so that was it for teachers day gifts (plus cards).
there really is something wrong with me. i have become some complete work-avoidance person. not to say that i was a workaholic before this (i wasnt, despite what everyone might think) but these few days its particularly bad. maybe its because i find it less approachable than other homework. and i want to study but have to get this out of the way first, its like some roadblock.
i had some really really really strange dream last night, how disturbing. its quite a creepy dream. first time i've ever had such a dream :X
