spongefingers soaked with espresso-tia maria, layered with coffee mascarpone cream and dusted with cocoa powder. aka tiramisu. the mascarpone cream was so wonderfully coffee, i kept smelling my fingers for a whiff of the coffee aroma after i was done making it. we had it for dessert after dinner today, i must say its not bad (: it was fun preparing and eating it, considering how i havent made tiramisu in a long time.
if i order tiramisu at a restaurant, it's mostly because i'm curious to see how it fares. then i compare with the one my mum makes (which is good, of course). i like the spongefingers soaked, or at least half-soaked. some restaurants serve it mostly dry, bleah. i like my tiramisu better than the ones where you can hardly taste the liqueur, or where the spongefingers are not soaked enough, or where there's very little cream in proportion to the spongefingers.
prelims ended yesterday! most of the girls (char ju eu jess hannah me) ate sushi from cold storage for lunch (plan to have ice cream at island creamery backfired because island creamery wasnt due to open for about an hour more.) went to btp to get some stuff, then walked to char's house. left for school for cwo.
it wasnt that bad actually. just lifting up tables to get the paper stabilisers, kick those in one area into a pile so you get many piles. then just pick up the piles and throw them away. helped to shift some tables and that was it! only about half an hour.
eu, jess, daniel, ben, michael, isaac and minkai came over. played monopoly/monopoly deal, while isaac played his dont know what facebook game on my com. our monopoly game was so loooong. OMG I WAS WINNINGGGGG!!! haha. new rules every time we play the game, or at least every time i play the game with different people, we play it differently because we dont know the rules.
that's why julia kept pwning at monopoly that day!! because she came up with random rules that you dont need to move at every turn but you can buy property using one turn and not move from your spot.
