It snowed for a short while that morning!!! Haha quite cool, at first i thought it was rain. You can't really tell the difference, until it falls onto your coat and stays as tiny white balls.
Anyway, I met Sam at the Piccadilly circus tube station on friday night! (: it was quite a surprise, really. I'd just entered the tube station, walking towards the card machines, when I saw her with her mum walking in the opposite direction. Didn't recognize her at first, took me a second. Then called her two times, until she turned around. Haha so coincidental (:
Met aizat at the oxford train station yesterday! He was really nice, brought us around the whole of oxford. It was freezing there! Not literally, but close. It was one degree, but the wind was very strong and chilly. Some parts of the river were frozen! :D quite cool. Spent hours walking around oxford, then ended with some shopping. Haha only at the store with permanent clearance sales :P even aizat bought something, lol. Had fun talking to him (:
Ahhhhh going back soon ): guess I'm a bit sad that this 'hol' is coming to an end, but wheee can't wait to get back to Singapore either (: just hope the trip ends on a good note (interview) :S my luggage is filled with stuff that wasn't there before, oops. I have a feeling shopping in singapore wont be as shiok after this (we're going to have a girls' outing after cny i think), the sales here are really quite good (:
Oh yeah this is way overdue but.. I watched inception on the plane ride here! Finally. Was supposed to watch it on the last trip but never got round to doing it. The whole concept was interesting.
Watched 'ghost stories' on wed night. I didn't actually choose to watch it. While I was having my interview, my dad and sis went to get half-price tickets, and after the interview they told me they'd gotten tickets to watch ghost stories. I promised I would never let them buy tickets without me again. Haha. Actually, it was an interesting show! If you forget about all the scary moments. Though it's only towards the end that you start to appreciate how everything is. I spent the entire show with my huge coat over me (I was cold, really), which proved particularly useful at the scarier parts of the play.
At the scary parts, you could only see my eyes because I was hiding behind my coat. Somewhere in the middle of the play (sound effects were...used well), I got a shock and threw the coat over myself (reflex!!). So I kind of missed whatever happened at that point, which was a bit -.- but oh well. the last ten minutes was quite :S so I watched only watched snippets of it, haha.
Before the play, they were showing this video outside, the one used to advertise the play. And it just showed the audience's reaction (screaming, hiding, etc.) so obviously I was quite prepared to do the same, no screaming though. Just hiding behind my coat (:
