matcha green tea ice cream cake: layers of matcha chiffon cake and matcha ice cream, frosted with matcha whipped cream.
for my dad's birthday (as you can tell). though he'd probably kill me for posting his age for the whole world to see. my chocolate penmanship isn't that bad - save for the second 'd' on 'Dad'. very simple deco, there wasn't much space left on the cake. the strawberry halves are supposed to look like a heart, i think.
changed the matcha ice cream recipe slightly, i must say it was much better than the previous batch.

omm penang tour was extremely enjoyable (: made a lot of new friends and had fun during rehearsals and the concert. spent late nights having supper (how unhealthy), sharing char kway teow, satay, char hor fun, etc. haha minkai was supposed to drop by and watch the concert but uhh, miscommunication/lack of information :P
the monday spent at universal studios singapore was great too! lots of funny photos, posing with funky hats and funky characters, dragging claire onto battlestar galactica, eating soft serve ice cream.
this week has been quite memorable (: but exhausting. i had fever last night, spent the night freezing and burning in bed at the same time. bodyache and sorethroat as well. in terms of work productivity, on the scale of 1 to 10 (hahaha dont we hear this during rehearsal every time), i'm not even on the scale - meaning, subzero, which is really bad.
started using whatsapp with aizat today! quite cool, haha knowing that it's free of charge. awards day presentation and BTT on monday, followed by sushi buffet with the class (or a percentage of the class) at sakae sushi. my whole body is still aching, i think i'm going to sleep now.
